While we are not an adoption agency, we can help you explore the options available to you from the type of adoption to the type of family you want your child to have. When the birth mom makes an adoption plan, she and the birth father can both choose a family for the child and choose their own future.

FAQs on the Abortion Pill
What is the abortion pill?
Also known as RU-486/medical or chemical abortion, the pill is actually two drugs: mifepristone and misoprostol. These are taken in two separate doses, one at a clinic under medical supervision and one at home.
When is it taken?
The abortion pill is FDA approved to be taken up to 70 days after a woman’s last menstrual period. The abortion pill is not an option for women with certain medical conditions, taking certain medications, or if the pregnancy is outside the uterus (ectopic).
Is reversal possible?
Reversal is possible if action is taken after the first dose. If you have recently taken the first pill and decided not to take the second, please call us.
What if I am in my second trimester?
Schedule an appointment with us and we will answer your questions about your second trimester pregnancy. We can give you information and resources for your pregnancy options in all trimesters.
Aspiration Abortion
An aspiration abortion procedure can be performed up to 13 weeks after a woman’s LMP. It is the most common early surgical abortion method and it is an outpatient procedure.
Dilation and Evacuation
A D&E abortion is typically performed 13 weeks or more after a woman’s last know period. It is the most common second trimester surgical abortion method. Local anesthesia or sedation is commonly utilized.
